Sue Pratt of Coldwell Banker Earns Resort &
Second-Home Property Specialist Certification
February 11, 2006
BROOMFIELD
- Sue Pratt, a Broker Associate with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage
office at Interlocken in Broomfield, has earned the Resort & Second-Home
Property Specialist (RSPS) certification from the National Association of
Realtors (NAR). The prestigious certification is awarded to real estate
professionals upon the successful completion of a stringent education-based
program comprised of two core courses and two electives. Realtors who earn the
RSPS certification have distinguished themselves amongst their peers and amongst
consumers as specialists in the resort and second-home markets around the world.
The
NAR currently defines a Realtor specializing in resort and second-home markets
as a "real estate practitioner who facilitates the buying, selling, or
management of properties for investment, development, retirement, or second
homes in a resort, recreational and/or vacation destination." In addition
to the RSPS certification, Pratt holds several other special certifications that
place her among the upper echelon of highly skilled real estate professionals.
Sue
Pratt earned her real estate license in 1977 and is a member of the Boulder
Board of Realtors. She serves the real estate needs of customers in Boulder,
Superior, Longmont, Niwot, Louisville, Lafayette, Broomfield, Jamestown, and
the high country above Boulder. Pratt holds an Associate Arts degree from Mount
Vernon College of Washington, D.C. and a B.A. degree from the University of
Colorado at Boulder. In addition to the RSPS certification, she holds several
additional special certifications recognizing the successful completion of stringent
education courses in real estate. Pratt is actively involved in numerous community
organizations and supports a wealth of charitable events and foundations. A
resident of Boulder County for more than 37 years, she provides her clients
with uncompromised service in residential and commercial real estate, investment
properties, relocation services, loans and much more. Pratt enjoys tennis, golf,
skiing, the theatre, her two sons, and collecting antique mechanical banks.
"The
RSPS certification is particularly important for Realtors who work in vacation
destination states such as Colorado," said Pratt. "With enhanced
knowledge of the resort and second-home markets, RSPS designees can provide a
higher level of service, and consumers (buyers and sellers) enjoy a higher level
of confidence when working with an RSPS professional. I am very focused on
continuing education in all areas of real estate, which is one of the
outstanding attributes of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. It is
definitely the best real estate company on the globe."
